It all started with Degas and a box of doughnuts.

That’s how Taylor remembers realizing she wanted to write fiction. In a gifted notebook with Degas’s The Dance Class on the cover, with a story about the imagined lives of the girls in the painting clamoring around dessert. She hasn’t stopped since.

Taylor combined her lifelong passions for art and theology and received her graduate degree from King’s College London before resuming her career as a museum professional. She lives in Brooklyn, where she can be found hunting for antiques, failing to resist indie bookstores, and plotting ways to escape to the Jersey Shore, no matter the season.

She is currently seeking representation for her novel.
